Faisalabad, formerly known as Lyallpur, is the second largest city and industrial centre of the Pakistani province of Punjab. It is a metropolitan city and the third largest and populous city in Pakistan, with an estimated population of 3.7 million in 2023.  Situated in the north-east region of the country, lying between the plain of the Ravi and Chenab Rivers, this increasingly industrialized city is one of country's wealthiest. Simultaneous with its growth in wealth has been the population. In 2022, 50,000 babies were born in a period of 10 days. As you might have guessed, the exponential population growth has contributed to an ever increasing amount of orphaned or abandoned children.

In November 2023, we opened our latest children's home in the rural outskirts of the city and currently have 30 children in our care. Each of these precious children have their own story, but the need is always the same - a loving and safe environment that will lend itself to giving them the stability they so desperately need. It is in that environment where we have seen countless lives transformed and stories rewritten. This is just the beginning and we look forward to this lasted venture continuing to grow.
