  • VINCENT DELETTO - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Vincent DeLetto has been the Executive Director of Houses of Hope Global for the past 16 years. In addition to philanthropic work, he is also the owner of a successful home improvement company on Long Island, New York. He and his wife Laura have been married since 1983 and have 4 children, all of whom have travelled internationally to visit and serve at HOHG projects.

The Houses of Hope story began when a team, including Vincent, traveled to Guatemala with a mission of planting churches through People For Missions - our parent organization. It quickly became clear to the team that in addition to planting churches, a separate mission was needed to rescue the children who were being left on the doorsteps of each planted church. The first House of Hope was established in 1992, and was incorporated in 2002, with Vincent as an Associate Director. His appointment to Executive Director came in 2007 by the board of directors.

As his time abroad has grown, Vincent has been an initiator of many projects in various countries. His knowledge of business management, as well as his expertise in the construction industry, has been instrumental in the success and longevity of the organization. Houses of Hope purposes to provide a nurturing environment where the children gain a sense of unity in family. To this day, each House of Hope around the world accomplishes that, and so much more.
